The aviation industry is undergoing a transformation — and we’re thrilled to be a part of it! ✈️

Earlier, ITWatch published a article highlighting our work with the German electric aircraft manufacturer Lilium. This marks a major milestone for us — both as a company and as a team of consultants passionate about real-world digital transformation.
Lilium is a front-runner in electric vertical take-off and landing (EVTOL) technology. 🔌 With a strong focus on sustainability, their mission is to change how we think about air travel. We’ve partnered with them to design and develop a next-generation digital portal that redefines how these groundbreaking aircraft are serviced and maintained.
Too many aviation processes still rely on outdated systems — paper forms, spreadsheets, and scattered email threads. Our goal is to bring this into the digital age, inspired by user-friendly ecosystems like Tesla’s vehicle management platform. The solution we’re building is designed to be accessible directly from tablets in the cockpit or smartphones on the ground — empowering operators to manage aircraft servicing intuitively, efficiently, and securely.

“It’s the most ambitious project I’ve ever been part of,”  says our CEO and founder Christian Agger in the interview.
It’s not just about building a tool — it’s about shaping the future of the aerospace industry. Working with Lilium means adapting to a fast-moving environment where innovation and regulation must go hand in hand - It's a challenge that fits perfectly with our experience and values. We founded DigitalThinking with a clear purpose: to turn digital ambition into execution. Our team of senior consultants has worked across industries — from tech to telecoms to manufacturing — and we bring those insights into every project.

With Lilium, we saw an opportunity not just to deliver a solution, but to help define a whole new category of digital infrastructure in aviation.
This collaboration is a springboard. Whether it's other forward-thinking aerospace companies, or traditional sectors ready to modernize, we’re excited about what’s next.
